  • What is DuitNow QR

    DuitNow QR is a hassle-free and secured instant fund transfer service that enables you to send and receive funds from anyone as well as make payment to a merchant by using a DuitNow QR code (also known as Malaysia's National QR Code). DuitNow QR is an industry-wide initiative governed by Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet). More information on DuitNow QR can be found here.
  • What can I use DuitNow QR for?

    You can:

    1. Transfer funds to anyone by scanning their DuitNow QR code.
    2. Receive funds by allowing others to scan your DuitNow QR code which is generated specifically for you on the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    3. Make payments to any merchant by scanning a DuitNow QR code.
  • Do I need to register for/activate DuitNow QR?

    1. Launch your OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the 'DuitNow QR' icon at the Quick Tray which is located at the bottom of the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app's login page.
    3. Key in your Login ID and password.
    4. Tick to allow camera permission and activate OCBC OneTouch/OneLook. Click 'Continue to Setup'.
    5. Set your DuitNow QR default account and transfer limit.
    6. Key in your 6-digit OTP.
    7. Your DuitNow QR is activated!

    1. Kindly ensure OCBC OneToken is activated prior DuitNow QR activation.

  • How can I perform fund transfers using DuitNow QR?

    1. Launch your OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the 'DuitNow QR' icon at the Quick Tray which is located at the bottom of the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app's login page.
    3. Scan the DuitNow QR code on your friend's or family member's mobile banking app or use the "Scan from Gallery" (for Android)/"Scan from Photos" (for iOS) feature to import the DuitNow QR code for fund transfers if you have saved it in your mobile device.
    4. Enter payment amount and click 'Confirm'.
    5. Check all details and 'Slide to Confirm'.
    6. Once your transfer is done, tap on 'Share' for the transfer receipt or tap on 'Pay Another' for the next fund transfer.

  • How do I make a payment using DuitNow QR?

    1. Launch your OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the 'DuitNow QR' icon at the Quick Tray which is located at the bottom of the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app's login page.
    3. Scan the DuitNow QR code displayed at the merchant's venue.
    4. Enter the payment amount and click 'Confirm'.
    5. Check all details and 'Slide to Confirm'.
    6. Once payment is done, tap on 'Share' for proof of payment.

  • How can I receive funds via DuitNow QR?

    1. Launch your OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the 'DuitNow QR' icon at the Quick Tray which is located at the bottom of the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app's login page.
    3. Toggle the button to the 'Receive' option.
    4. Present your DuitNow QR code for the other party to scan to receive your funds. You can also share your DuitNow QR code by tapping on the Share icon located at the top left of the page.
  • How do I manage my DuitNow QR?

    You can manage your DuitNow QR via the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.

    1. Log in to your account via the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the top left Menu '=' > Settings > Manage DuitNow QR.
    3. You can manage your default account and transfer limit here.

  • Is there any cut-off time for the DuitNow QR service?

    No, you can perform DuitNow QR transactions at any time via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking (24 hours). The transactions are transferred immediately to the beneficiary accounts.

    Note:
    Transactions performed after 9.45pm will be reflected in your statement as the next day's transaction.
