  • What is DuitNow ID?

    Your DuitNow ID is a registered identifier which is linked to your bank account so you can receive funds via DuitNow fund transfer. The following permitted identifiers can be used as your DuitNow ID:

    1. Mobile number
    2. NRIC number
    3. Army number or Police number
    4. Passport number
    5. Business Registration number
  • Do I need to register for DuitNow ID?

    1. To send money via DuitNow Transfer, you do not need to register for DuitNow ID.
    2. To receive money via DuitNow Transfer, you will need to register for DuitNow ID before someone can transfer funds to you using DuitNow ID.
  • How do I register for DuitNow ID?

    OCBC Internet Banking


    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Go to Customer service > Manage your DuitNow ID.
    3. Refer to scenarios in the table below for further instructions.

    Alternatively,

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > Manage your DuitNow ID.
    3. Refer to scenarios in the table below for further instructions.

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the top left Menu '=' > Settings > Manage DuitNow ID.
    3. Refer to scenarios in the table below for further instructions.

    Steps

    If you are a new user and have never registered for DuitNow ID
    1. Choose the identifier (e.g. Mobile Number, NRIC) that you wish to register as your DuitNow ID.
    2. Select the account that you wish to link to your DuitNow ID(s) as the fund receiving account.
    3. Click 'Submit' to register.
    If you have registered your DuitNow ID with another Bank and wish to switch to OCBC Bank.
    1. Tap on 'Switch to OCBC Bank' for your DuitNow ID.
    2. Select the account that you wish to link your DuitNow ID with as the fund receiving account.
    3. Click 'Submit' to switch your DuitNow ID to OCBC Bank.
    If you have an existing DuitNow ID (e.g. NRIC) and wish to register for an additional DuitNow ID (e.g. Mobile Number)
    1. Tap on 'Register Now' for a new DuitNow ID registration.
    2. Select the account that you wish to link your DuitNow ID with as the fund receiving account.
    3. Click 'Submit' to register.

  • How many DuitNow IDs can I register for?

    You can register for more than 1 DuitNow ID based on the permitted identifiers which consist of 4 individual IDs and 1 business registration number, whichever applicable.
  • Can I link my DuitNow ID to more than one account?

    No, each DuitNow ID is unique, hence you can only register it to one account at a time. However, you may link more than 1 DuitNow ID to the same account.
  • Can I activate or deactivate my DuitNow ID registration?

    Yes, you can activate or deactivate your DuitNow ID via OCBC Online Banking.


    OCBC Internet Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Customer service > Manage your DuitNow ID.
    3. Select 'Active'/'Inactive' under Status for respective DuitNow ID(s) that you wish to update.
    4. Click 'Submit' to proceed.

    OCBC Mobile Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the top left Menu '=' > Settings > Manage DuitNow ID.
    3. Select 'Active'/'Inactive' under Status for respective DuitNow ID(s) that you wish to update.
    4. Click 'Submit' to proceed.

  • Can I change the fund receiving account for my DuitNow ID?

    Yes, you can change the fund receiving account for your DuitNow ID via OCBC Internet Banking or Mobile Banking.

    OCBC Internet Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Customer service > Manage your DuitNow ID.
    3. Click on 'Change' under Account.
    4. Select your new fund receiving account and click 'Submit' to proceed.

    Alternatively,

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > Manage your DuitNow ID.
    3. Click on 'Change' under Account.
    4. Select your new fund receiving account and click 'Submit' to proceed.

    OCBC Mobile Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the top left Menu '=' > Settings > Manage DuitNow ID.
    3. Click on 'Change' under Account.
    4. Select your new fund receiving account and click 'Submit' to proceed.
