  • What is JomPAY?

    JomPAY is a national initiative, supported by Banks, to enable online bill payments across Malaysia. Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) operates JomPAY.
  • What can JomPAY do for me?

    With JomPAY, you can pay any bills or invoices to over 9,000 billers through OCBC Internet or Mobile Banking using funds from your Savings, Current or Credit Card accounts. It's fast, safe, and convenient.
  • Are there any fees/charges for making payments via JomPAY?

    There are no fees/charges imposed for customers who perform bill payments via JomPAY.
  • Do I have to register before making payments with JomPAY?

    No registration is required with JomPAY. All you need is Internet or Mobile Banking access with the Bank to perform a JomPAY bill payment.
  • How is JomPAY different from the existing bill payment service of my bank?

    At present, the number of Billers available for you to pay differs significantly across Banks. You may not be able to make payments to a Biller if the Biller is not available at your Bank's Internet and Mobile Banking channel. JomPAY creates an accessible and inclusive bill payment eco-system for consumers, Banks and billers so that all JomPAY Billers are available to all customers of 42 Banks in Malaysia.
  • How do I make a payment via JomPAY?

    OCBC Internet Banking

    One-time JomPAY Bill Payment

    1. Just look for the JomPAY logo on your bill or invoice.
    2. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    3. Go to Payment & transfer > Pay Bills > Pay a JomPAY bill.
    4. Enter all required details (i.e. JomPAY Biller Code, Reference Number (Ref-1/Ref-2), debiting account, amount, etc.) and click 'Next'.
    5. Review all details and click 'Submit' to proceed with payment.

    Favourite JomPAY Bill Payment

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Pay Bills > Pay favourite bills > Pay billing organisation.
    3. Select the registered biller that you wish to pay.
    4. Enter all required details and click 'Next'.
    5. Review all details and click 'Submit' to proceed with payment.

    OCBC Mobile Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on the top left Menu '=' > Pay > Bill Payment*.
    3. Choose the accounts for payment, fill in required details and swipe the 'Slide to Submit' button.
    4. Review details and click 'Confirm payment' to proceed.

    Alternatively,

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on Pay Bill at the Quick Access Bar which is located at the bottom of the Account Dashboard Page > Bill Payment*.
    3. Choose the accounts for payment, fill in required details and swipe the 'Slide to Submit' button.
    4. Review details and click 'Confirm payment' to proceed.

    Note:
    *To perform JomPAY bill payment via Mobile Banking, customers must first register the billers/billing organisation as favourite via OCBC Internet Banking. For more details, please refer to JomPAY - Payments page.
  • How do I look for JomPAY details (i.e. Biller Code and Reference number)?

    Look for the JomPAY logo in your bills and/or invoices. You will be able to find the Biller code and Reference number.
  • Can I save the Biller as 'Favourite'

    Yes, you can add Biller as Favourite via OCBC Internet Banking. You will need to make payment to the Biller(s) first so that you can add the biller as Favourite.

    OCBC Internet Banking

    1. After completing the JomPAY bill payment, click 'Add biller as Favourite'.
    2. Fill in Nickname and click 'Next".
    3. Key in 6-digit OTP and click 'Submit'.
    4. The Billers will be added as Favourite and you can view/ manage via Payment & transfer > Pay Bills > Manage biller.

  • Can I set my bill payments as recurring or future dated?

    Yes, you can set recurring/future dated payments via OCBC Internet Banking. For recurring payments, you will need to add the Biller as Favourite first.

  • Is there any cut-off time for JomPAY service?

    No, you can perform JomPAY transactions at any time via the channels below:


    • Internet Banking (24 hours)
    • Mobile Banking (24 hours)

    Note:
    Transactions performed after 9.45pm will be reflected in your statement as the next day's transaction.
  • What is Ref-1?

    Ref-1 is a unique number used by your Biller to identify you or your bill. Ref-1 is printed next to the JomPAY logo on your bill.
  • Why does Ref-1 change in some subsequent bills/invoices?

    Ref-1 could be either fixed or variable depending on the needs of Billers. In most cases, Ref-1 is fixed.
