  • What can I get from my OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card?

    You can earn Points (“Travel$”) on purchases legitimately charged to your OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card as shown in the table below. Each OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card transaction amount will be rounded down to the nearest Ringgit Malaysia or Ringgit Malaysia equivalent for purposes of computing the total number of Travel$ eligible for the transaction.

  • What is the maximum Travel$ limit I am entitled to every month and is there any expiry date for the Travel$?

    There is no maximum Travel$ limit on your Total Retail Spending. The Travel$ is valid for five (5) years.

  • What is Total Retail Spending?

    Total Retail Spending means the total amount of your retail spending including supplementary Cardmember’s retail spending. The table below shows you what transactions are retail spending and what are not.

    Note: E-commerce and Online purchases are collectively known as “Online Purchases”. This refers to purchases made on an online merchant’s website or e-wallet top-up transactions and excludes transactions made for payments on OCBC Internet Banking.

  • How do I check my available Travel$ balance?

    You can log into your OCBC Internet Banking or OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app to view your Travel$ balance. The available Travel$ balance is also reflected on your monthly billing statements.

  • What happens to my Travel$ earned if I return, cancel or make changes to the purchase of any items charged to my OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card?

    The refund or cancellation of the purchases will be processed according to the prevailing rules and practices, and the corresponding Travel$ earned will be deducted accordingly using the current conversion rate. In the event there is insufficient Travel$ balance for deduction, the cash equivalent of the shortfall will be charged to the OCBC 90°N Visa Card account using the current redemption rate, as illustrated below:

However, as Mr. Customer A has insufficient Travel$ balance to be deducted, the cash equivalent of the shortfall will be charged to his OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card account as illustrated in the Table below:

  • What can I redeem with my available Travel$?

    Every Travel$ can be redeemed for the Ringgit Malaysia cashback equivalent at a redemption rate as determined by OCBC. OCBC will give twenty one (21) days prior notice to the Cardmembers for any revision in the redemption rate.

    You may access OCBC Internet Banking or the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app to redeem the Travel$ earned and credit the cashback equivalent amount to your OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card account, provided that you or a supplementary Cardmember have legitimately purchased any travel-related items under the categories defined in Table 3 below in the past 12 months using the OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card (“Travel Spending”):

    Note: The travel-related items purchased under the MCC listed out above will be reflected in your OCBC Internet Banking or the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app as Travel Spending upon settlement of the purchases made. Travel-related items purchased via DuitNow QR or FPX Payment are excluded from the MCC listed out above and will not constitute Travel Spending. Travel Spending also excludes e-wallet top-up transactions.

    Redemption of Travel$ must be made with a minimum cashback equivalent of RM10. Any redemption made without the minimum RM10 cashback equivalent of the Travel$ and without any Travel Spending in the past 12 months will not be eligible.

  • When will I get my Travel$ redemption?

    The cashback equivalent of the redeemed Travel$ will be credited into your OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card account within three (3) days from the date the redemption is made. The cashback equivalent for the amount will be reflected in the monthly statements that follows after the date the redeemed Travel$ is credited.

  • What happens to my Travel$ balance if I replace or cancel my card?

    In the event of a replacement of your OCBC 90°N Visa Card, the Travel$ balance will be carried over to the new card. However, you will need to activate the new OCBC 90°N Visa Card with a minimum of one transaction charged to the new card to be eligible to redeem Travel$, provided that you redeem with a minimum RM10 cashback equivalent and have done some Travel Spending in the past 12 months.

    Upon OCBC 90°N Visa Card cancellation and card account closure, all Travel$ balances will be forfeited.

  • How many complimentary access benefits do I get to the KLIA and klia2 Plaza Premium Lounge?

    Two (2) complimentary access benefits to Plaza Premium Lounges (“Complimentary PPL Access”) in KLIA and klia2 are provided to all new principal and supplementary Cardmembers during the first year of membership. Thereafter, the complimentary PPL Access will be availed to principal and supplementary Cardmembers on an annual basis subject to the principal and supplementary Cardmember’s meeting the following criteria respectively:

  • Can I share my complimentary access benefits with another accompanying guest?

    Yes, you can share the two (2) complimentary access benefits between yourself and one accompanying guest (OCBC 90°N Visa Cardmember must be present upon entry). You are only allowed to use one complimentary access per person, per visit and per day. Any additional accompanying guest(s) will receive a 25% discount on the prevailing rate, regardless of the number of guests. You will need to present your OCBC 90°N Visa Card and valid boarding pass (with matching Cardmember name) upon entry to the Plaza Premium Lounge.

  • Can I still access the KLIA and klia2 Plaza Premium Lounge after I've used up my 2 complimentary access benefits?

    Yes, there will be a 25% discount on the entry fee for your 3rd visit onwards or if you are ineligible for complimentary access in the subsequent years.

  • What is the travel insurance about and how am I entitled to it?

    This travel insurance is a personal accident insurance with coverage of up to RM1 million. To be entitled to it, you must charge the full airfare to your OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card.

  • Which insurance company is the insured company for the travel insurance?

    The insurance company that insures the Travel Personal Accident Benefit is Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad (GEGM).

  • What is the coverage and benefit amount of the travel insurance?

  • Is my supplementary card entitled to this travel insurance too?

    Yes, as long as they charge their full airfare to their OCBC 90⁰N Visa Card.
