  • Who can I transfer funds to?

    You can transfer funds from your OCBC account to:

    • A mobile number, NRIC and other DuitNow IDs.
    • Other bank accounts.
    • Your own OCBC account (if you have more than 1 account).
    • Someone else's OCBC account.
  • How do I transfer funds via OCBC Online Banking?

    OCBC Internet Banking

    New Transfer

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > New transfer.
    3. Select your preferred type of transfer.
    4. Enter all required details and click 'Next'.
    5. Verify all details and click 'Submit' to proceed.

    Favourite Transfer

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > Favourite transfer.
    3. Select your preferred type of transfer.
    4. Enter all required details and click 'Next'.
    5. Verify all details and click 'Submit' to proceed.

    OCBC Mobile Banking

    New Transfer

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Go to top left Menu '='> Transfer.
    3. Select your preferred type of transfer.
    4. Tap on *+Transfer to new payee.
    5. Enter all required details and 'Slide to Submit'.
    6. Verify all details and click 'Confirm Transfer' to proceed.

    Note:
    *This is applicable for customers with favourite recipients. If customers never add any recipient as favourite, can proceed to Step 5 directly.

    Favourite Transfer

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Go to top left Menu '='> Transfer.
    3. Select your preferred type of transfer.
    4. Choose your Favourite beneficiary/recipient that you wish to transfer funds to.
    5. Enter all required details and 'Slide to Submit'.
    6. Verify all details and click 'Confirm Transfer' to proceed.
  • How do I add a favourite beneficiary/ recipient?

    You can add a favourite beneficiary/recipient via OCBC Internet Banking

    Option 1

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > Manage favourites.
    3. Click 'Add favourite' based on your preferred category (e.g. Accounts at other banks in Malaysia).
    4. Key in all required details and click 'Next'.
    5. Review all details and click 'Next' to complete the request.

    Option 2

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > Favourite transfer.
    3. Select your transfer type and debiting account.
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the Favourite list and click 'Add favourite'.
    5. Key in all required details and click 'Next'.
    6. Review all details and click 'Next' to complete the request.

    Option 3

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Transfer funds > New transfer.
    3. Select your transfer type and perform a new fund transfer to the recipient.
    4. Upon completion of the fund transfer, click 'Add recipient as favourite'.
    5. Key in all required details and click 'Next'.
    6. Review all details and click 'Next' to complete the request.
  • What is the maximum daily transfer limit for transactions via OCBC Online Banking?

    The maximum daily transfer limit for transactions via OCBC Online Banking is RM50,000. This is total amount of fund transfers to other banks plus fund transfers to third party OCBC Savings/Current Accounts per day.

    Note:
    As an additional security measure to keep your accounts safe, effective 22 March 2024, we are introducing a 12-hour cooling-off period for customers who increase their Online Banking fund transfer limit via OCBC Internet Banking.
    The new increased Online Banking fund transfer limit will be effective after a 12-hour cooling-off period.
    Any reduction in the Online Banking fund transfer limit is effective immediately.

  • What can I do with the Pay Bills function?

    Pay Bills allows you to pay your invoices/bills through OCBC Online Banking, which include paying:

    1. Billing organizations (New/Favourite bills)
    2. Your OCBC Credit Card bill
    3. Your OCBC Loan/Financing.
  • How do I pay bills via OCBC Online Banking?

    OCBC Internet Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Internet Banking.
    2. Go to Payment & transfer > Pay bills.
    3. Select the type of Payment that you wish to make and follow the steps to proceed for payment accordingly.

    OCBC Mobile Banking

    1. Log in to your account via OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app.
    2. Tap on top left Menu '='> Pay.
    3. Choose the type of payment that you wish to make.
    4. Select the debiting and crediting account, enter all required fields and 'Slide to Submit'.
    5. Review all details and click 'Confirm payment' to proceed.
  • Which account can I choose to pay bills?

    You can use Current, Savings account/-i or Credit Cards for bill payment, subject to the type of bills and payment method accepted by the merchants.
  • Can I perform scheduled/ recurring payments?

    Yes, you can. For recurring payment, it is subject to registering the biller as a favourite.
