Logging in for the first time

For user with OCBC OneToken (digital token)

Before you log in to OCBC Velocity for the first time, ensure you have the following ready:

  • Welcome Email for a new user (containing instructions to set password and activate your digital token)
  • Mobile device installed with the OCBC Malaysia Business Mobile Banking app ( downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play Store).
1. Launch the app. When prompted, please allow notifications and access permission to the app.
2. Tap on the “More” > “Set up Password” under the menu on the OCBC Business Mobile Banking app.
3. Follow the instructions shown on-screen to activate OCBC OneToken (digital token) and set your password.
4. Please wait for the cooling period indicated on screen before you can start using the app. You will receive a notification indicating your OCBC OneToken has been activated after the cooling period. 


For user with hardware security token or password mailer issued

If you have opted to use the hardware token, the nominated contact persons(s) for your company will receive an OCBC Velocity starter kit, within 12 business days, at the mailing address that you have registered with us. You will need to collect the hardware token from him/ her, before you proceed to log in.

1. Go to OCBC Velocity login page https://velocity.ocbc.com
2. Key in your Organisation ID, User ID and Password (as indicated in the password mailer) at the login box.
3. Click ‘Login’ and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your token and set a password.

If I have forgotten my password or my account is locked, what should I do?

A. If you have activated your security token and registered your mobile number with us before this,

  • Just click on the 'Forgot Password/ Unlock User' hyperlink in the login page of OCBC Velocity (OCBC Business Internet Banking) or OCBC Malaysia Business Mobile Banking App.
  • Select 'I forgot my password. I wish to reset my password' or 'I remember my current password. I will use it to unlock my account'
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and get a new password unlock your User ID Immediately.

To use this feature, you must:

  • have registered a valid mobile number with OCBC Velocity (for SMS OTP)
  • have activated your OCBC Velocity security token (for verification)
  • have on-hand your Organisation ID and User ID
  • confirm that your User ID was previously disabled only due to your forgetting the password or wrong password used.


B. If you have not activated your new token,

Please complete the Manage OCBC Velocity Account Form to request for 're-issue password' or 'unlock account'. Submit the original form, duly signed by the authorised persons, to any of our branches.

Upon receipt and verification of the form, we will process your request within 12 business days. The password mailer will be sent to your mailing address as maintained in our records. Once you have successfully logged in with the new password mailer, you may want to update your contact details in OCBC Velocity via Tools > Change Contact Details, so that you can instantly reset your password or unlock account online at any time.

I keep getting the "Invalid User ID/Password" error message. What could be wrong?

If this is your 1st time login upon receipt of PIN Mailer, you could have mistaken the character in the password provided by the Bank as such:

  • Alphabet "b" mistaken for the number "6"
  • Alphabet "O" is mistaken for the number "0" which is more elongated
  • Alphabet "I" is mistaken for the number "1"
  • Alphabet "I" and "J" when placed side-by-side is mistaken for the number "0" or the alphabet "D"
Please note that password is case-sensitive.

Why can't I access OCBC Velocity?

A security vulnerability in SSL (Secure Sokets Layer) v3.0 known as Padding Oracle On Downgraded Legacy Encryption ("POODLE") was discovered recently and this affects some web browsers (eg: IE6 and below). To ensure you are well protected, SSL v3.0 will no longer be supported on OCBC Velocity with immediate effect.

Please ensure that TLS (Transport Layer Security) v1.0 & above is enabled in your web browser settings in order to access OCBC Velocity.

Refer below for steps to enable for the commonly used browsers.

For Internet Explorer
When accessing https://velocity.ocbc.com/login.html using Internet Explorer, I receive an error message “Internet Page cannot be displayed”. What should I do?

If you are using Internet Explorer, you may see this error message. This is because the security requirement for OCBC Velocity has been strengthened. To enhance your security settings,

  1. Launch your Internet Explorer browser
  2. On the browser menu bar, go to “Tools”
  3. Select “Internet Options”
  4. Select “Advanced” and scroll down to “Security”
  5. Uncheck the options 'Use SSL 2.0', “Use SSL 3.0”
  6. Check the options “Use TLS 1.0” (if available), 'Use TLS 1.1' (if available), 'Use TLS 1.2' (if available)
  7. Click 'Apply', then “OK”
  8. Close Internet Explorer and re-open it
  9. Access https://velocity.ocbc.com/login.html again


For Chrome
When accessing https://velocity.ocbc.com/login.html using Chrome, I receive an error message “This webpage is not available”. What should I do?

If you are using Chrome, you may see this error message. This is because the security requirement  for OCBC Velocity has been strengthened. To enhance your security settings,

  1. Launch your Google Chrome browser
  2. Click on menu icon at top right corner of the browser
  3. Select 'Settings'
  4. Click on 'Show Advance Setting' hyperlink
  5. Click 'Change proxy settings'
  6. Select 'Advanced' tab
  7. Scroll down to 'Security' section  and uncheck the options “Use SSL 2.0”, “Use SSL 3.0”
  8. Check the options “Use TLS 1.0”, “Use TLS 1.1” (if available), “Use TLS 1.2” (if available)
  9. Click “Apply” then “OK”
  10. Close all browser tabs and re-open browser to ensure settings are changed
  11. Access https://velocity.ocbc.com/login.html again

For Firefox
When accessing https://velocity.ocbc.com/login.html using Firefox, I receive an error message “This webpage is not available”. What should I do?

If you are using Firefox, you may see this error message. This is because the security requirement  for OCBC Velocity has been strengthened. To enhance your security settings,

  1. Launch your Firefox browser
  2. Type 'about:config' in address bar
  3. You will see a warning message : 'This might void your warranty!'. Click on 'I'll be careful, I promise!'
  4. Type 'TLS' in 'Search' bar
  5. Under 'Preference Name', select 'security.tls.version.max'. Place mouse cursor under 'Value', right click to 'Modify' and change value to '3' to enable TLS 1.2. Click 'OK'.
  6. Under 'Preference Name', select 'security.tls.version.min'. Place mouse cursor under 'Value', right click to 'Modify' and change value to '1' to make TLS 1.0 the minimum required security protocol. Click 'OK'.
  7. Close all browser tabs and re-open browser to ensure settings are changed
  8. Access https://velocity.ocbc.com/login.html again

Logging out

Simply click on "LOGOUT" on the top right-hand corner.

For your protection, OCBC Velocity will automatically terminate your session if there is no activity for a period of 14 minutes. The systems will also automatically terminate your session if you have been logged in for a period of 120 minutes.

Unable to process login request

Our system could be experiencing some technical issues. If the error message instructs you to to try again in 10 minutes' time, it means that we are already working on the problem and you can try again later.

If the error message instructs you to call us, please do so at 1300-88-7000 (within Malaysia)/ (603) 8317 5200 (outside Malaysia) from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (excluding public holidays).

 

Account disabled

OCBC Velocity users are required to access the system at least once every 360 days otherwise the account will be disabled.

To reactivate your account, please call us at 1300-88-7000 (within Malaysia)/ (603) 8317 5200 (outside Malaysia) from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (excluding public holidays).
