OCBC is offering repayment/
payment assistance programmes to our Loan and Financing customers who are adversely affected by the flood. Through this programme, we hope to provide relief to help alleviate the financial burdens faced by our customers during these challenging times. Stay safe.
6-months Deferment
Your loan or financing payment/repayment will be deferred for 6 months. Original tenure remains.

You may submit your application via any of the following channels:
- Submit the Online Application Form along with your photocopy IC and supporting documents (such as public news, other government agencies, insurance claim proof, and police report) in this website below OR
- Visit or call any of our branches nationwide (Click here for the list of branches)
- To expedite the processing of your application, please submit your application only once.
- For enquiries, call our dedicated Repayment/Payment Assistance Hotline: 603-83175011 (From 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays and weekends).
- The processing time for the application will take up to 5 days. It may take longer if there are public holiday(s)/weekends in between.
- Please complete a fresh repayment/payment assistance application if you have more than one account with us.
Eligibility
Applicable to Non Bankrupt.
Aged 18 and above is applicable for registration.
Collateral/Residential address is in the flood district as declared by Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA).
Note: For areas not updated in NADMA, to be supported with other supporting evidence such insurance claim proof or police report.

Terms & Conditions for Flood Relief Assistance (FRA)
I/We agree that my/our application under this Flood Relief Assistance (FRA) is subject to the following:
1. | My/our application with complete information is received by OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin on or before 28 February 2022. |
2. | I/we confirm that I/we are not bankrupt(s) and I/we have no loan/financing that is past due and I am/we are not in breach of any agreements with OCBC Bank and / or OCBC Al-Amin. |
3. | The deferment/payment holiday applies to the instalments / payments for up to 6 months but in any event not beyond August 2022. |
4. | After the 6-month deferment/payment holiday ends, OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin will notify me/us of the revised (if any) monthly instalment/payment amount for the remaining loan/financing tenure. |
5. | The loan/financing tenure will not be extended. Amortisation of the loan/financing will be adjusted across the existing loan / financing tenure. |
6. | When my/our loan/financing is currently availed TRA/PEMERKASA/PEMULIH/other assistance package, once the FRA is approved and effective will: |
a) | supersede the remaining tenure of any then on-going moratorium; or |
b) | run concurrent with any then on-going package for 50% reduction in instalments ("Instalment Reduction Package"), deferring all instalments during the period when the FRA tenure overlaps with the Instalment Reduction Package tenure. If the tenure of the Instalment Reduction Package tenure outlasts the FRA tenure, then I/we shall continue with paying the instalments at 50% reduction until the end of the Instalment Reduction Package in accordance with the Instalment Reduction Package. |
7. | OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin can rely on my/our application to proceed with processing the application, and I/we shall be bound by the notification sent by OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin as to the result of my/our application. |
8. | Notification may be sent by email, SMS, letter, or other channels, as OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin considers appropriate to my/our contact details as maintained by OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin. |
9. | Before I/we receive the notification from OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin, I/we shall continue to pay the monthly instalments/payments (unless deferment on instalment payments is in effect) in accordance with the terms and conditions of my/our loan(s)/financing. |
10. | Save and accept for the changes to the instalment/payment amounts as notified by OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin, all the terms and conditions in the letter(s) of offer, facilities agreement, transaction document(s), security documents and all such other letters and/or agreements in respect of the loan(s)/financing (collectively "the Documents") shall remain binding and in full force. Without affecting the generality of the foregoing, for clarity, if any event(s) of default shall have occurred under the Documents, OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin can exercise all rights and remedies under the Documents including recalling/terminating the loan(s)/financing and/or revise any terms and conditions of the loan(s) / financing. |
11. | I/We shall ensure that all my/our contact details remain current and up to date at all times. |
12. | Application for this financial relief programme must be received through channels acceptable to the Bank with complete information unless otherwise agreed by the Bank. |
13. | Any stamp duty, registration costs, disbursements (collectively, "Costs") related to my/our request shall be borne solely by me/us. OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin may (but shall not be obliged to) debit the Costs to any of my /our account(s). |
