OCBC is offering repayment/
payment assistance programmes to our Loan and Financing customers who are adversely affected by the flood. Through this programme, we hope to provide relief to help alleviate the financial burdens faced by our customers during these challenging times. Stay safe.
A. Extension of Cash Financing-i Payment Deferment
Your financing payment deferment will be extended for another 6 months. Your monthly instalment / payment will remain as original instalment amount.
You may submit your application via any of the following channels:
- Submit the Online Application Form along with your photocopy IC and supporting documents (such as public news, other government agencies, insurance claim proof, and police report) in this website below OR
- Visit or call any of our branches nationwide (Click here for the list of branches)
- To expedite the processing of your application, please submit your application only once.
- For enquiries, call our dedicated Repayment/Payment Assistance Hotline: 603-83175011 (From 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays and weekends).
- The processing time for the application will take up to 5 days. It may take longer if there are public holiday(s)/weekends in between.
- Please complete a fresh repayment/payment assistance application if you have more than one account with us.
Eligibility
Borrower whose property (place of residence as per mailing address maintained with OCBC) is affected by the flood.
Affected flood in districts declared by Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA) as flood disaster areas. For areas not updated in NADMA, to be supported with other supporting evidence such as public news, other government agencies, insurance claim proof, and police report.

Terms & Conditions for Relief Assistance
I agree that my application under this Flood Relief Programme is subject to the following:
1. | My following declarations: |
a) | My loan/financing is not under rehabilitation with Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK); |
b) | I am not an undischarged bankrupt or subject to a bankruptcy proceeding; and |
2. | If I am applying for Package A: |
a) | The deferment / payment holiday applies to the instalments / payments for 6 months commencing on my next instalment / payment after my application is approved under this financial relief programme. |
b) | After the 6-month deferment / payment holiday ends, OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin will notify me of the revised (if any) monthly instalment / payment amount and / or the remaining loan / financing tenure. |
c) | The loan / financing tenure will be extended for additional 6 months unless as notified otherwise by OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin. |
3. | OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin can rely on my application to proceed with processing the application, and I shall be bound by the notification sent by OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin as to the result of my application. |
4. | Notification may be sent by email, SMS, letter, or other channels, as OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin considers appropriate to my contact details as maintained by OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin. |
5. | Before I receive the notification from OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin, I shall continue to pay the monthly instalments / payments (unless moratorium on instalment payments is in effect) in accordance with the terms and conditions of my loan(s) / financing. |
6. | Save and accept for the changes to the instalment / payment amounts as notified by OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin, all the terms and conditions in the letter(s) of offer, facilities agreement, transaction document(s), security documents and all such other letters and / or agreements in respect of the loan(s) / financing (collectively "the Documents") shall remain binding and in full force. Without affecting the generality of the foregoing, for clarity, if any event(s) of default shall have occurred under the Documents, OCBC Bank/OCBC Al-Amin can exercise all rights and remedies under the Documents including recalling/terminating the loan(s) / financing and / or revise any terms and conditions of the loan(s) / financing. |
7. | I understand that under the financial assistance made available to me, the normal interest / profit will continue to be charged and accrued during the deferment period. My monthly instalment / payment amount may increase / be adjusted incurring overall higher financing costs over the tenure / revised tenure of the loan / financing. I have read and understood the illustration(s) furnished in the FAQ for this financial assistance programme. |
8. | I have the option to engage the Bank to revise the monthly instalment / payment amount and / or schedule if my financials have improved to reduce overall borrowing / financing costs; |
9. | All the information given in relation to this request are true, accurate and complete. |
10. | I undertake to furnish additional information / supporting documents as may be required by OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin relating to this request after my repayment/payment assistance has been approved. |
11. | OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin may revoke any approval, revised the terms of my loan(s) / financing, or recall / terminate my loan(s) / financing if any of the information are discovered to be not true / accurate / complete, or are unable to be verified. |
12. | If I have missed my instalments that are due and unpaid in full by more than 90 days at the date of this application, the Bank is entitled to offer me a customised solution (instead of as applied by me us under Pemulih) that is more suitable to my financial circumstances. The process of customising this solution / the customised solution may include sharing my loan / financing details with AKPK for further financial advice on managing my debt and allowing AKPK to access my CCRIS information. I consent to the sharing of my information with AKPK and the access by AKPK of my CCRIS information. The Bank / AKPK does not require any additional consent from me for any actions reasonably contemplated under this Clause. |
13. | I shall ensure that all my contact details remain current and up-to-date at all times. |
14. | Application for this financial relief programme must be received through channels acceptable to the Bank with complete information unless otherwise agreed by the Bank. |
15. | Any stamp duty, registration costs, disbursements (collectively, "Costs") related to my request shall be borne solely by me. OCBC Bank / OCBC Al-Amin may (but shall not be obliged to) debit the Costs to any of my account(s). |
