Validity Period 1 April to 30 September 2020
Packages This is a deferment of the loan repayment/financing payment for 6 months, also known as a payment holiday. During this period, borrowers/customers with loans/financing that meet the criteria do not need to make payment with no late payment charges or penalties being imposed.
Eligibility Individual customers with loan or financing accounts denominated in Malaysian Ringgit and that are not in arrears exceeding 90 days as of 1 April 2020 will automatically be enrolled. No application required.

Packages Financial Relief Packages

  1. Extension of Loan and Financing Payment Deferment

    Only for individuals who have lost their jobs due to pandemic.
    Your loan or financing payment/repayment deferment will be extended for another 3 months from 1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020.

  2. Lower Instalments with Subsequent Step-up Payments

    You will pay a lower monthly instalment/payment for the first 12 months following the moratorium while retaining the tenure of your loan or financing. Your monthly instalment/payment will be increased on the 13th month until the end of the loan/financing tenure to re-amortise the loan/financing across the remaining tenure.

  3. Tenure extension

    Loan/Financing tenure extension up to 35 years from date of first disbursement. This will allow you to repay/pay a lower monthly installment/payment amount.

  • For package A: Individuals who have lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic; and
  • For packages B and C: Individuals who have suffered a drop in income due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • Retrenchment Letter* OR
  • Salary slip before and after pay cut*
Self-employed
  • Bank Statements before and after business income impacted*

*Please stamp the Statutory Declaration at the Commissioner for Oath/Notary Public before you submit the form to the Bank.

*The processing time for the application will take up to 7 working days upon receiving completed document(s).
