Beware of Phishing Scams.

Be cautious of any SMS claiming you have issues with your bank account and ignore social media postings offering free gifts. Do not click any link that comes via SMS or social media. These are scam phishing links that lead you to fake OCBC websites. Never reveal your One Time Password (OTP) or banking details and never key in confidential details at unverified websites.

Financial Management and Resilience Programme (URUS) From 15 November 2021 to 31 January 2022, B50 customers who fulfil all the following criteria may sign up for URUS, which is aimed at alleviating the financial difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic:

  • Are under any existing repayment assistance programme from OCBC Bank as at 30 September 2021,
  • Whose household income does not exceed RM5,880 as at the application date,
  • Who lost employment in 2020 or 2021 and remain unemployed at the time of application, or lost over 50% of their income at the time of application and
  • Whose loan/financing is performing (i.e. less than 90 days past due) at the time of application.

Eligible B50 customers may sign up here before 31 January 2022.
