Packages Financial Relief Packages

Package A : Loan and Financing Payment Deferment for 3 months
Only for individuals who have lost their jobs due to pandemic.
Your loan or financing payment/repayment deferment will be extended for another 3 months from 1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020.

Note: If your application for Package A under Post-Moratorium Financial Relief Program is already approved, you can apply Post-Moratorium Financial Relief Program or Targeted Repayment Assistance (for those who are categorised under B40 and M40) under Package B or C only.


Package B : Lower Instalments with Subsequent Step-up Payments
You will pay a lower monthly instalment/payment for the first 12 months following the moratorium while retaining the tenure of your loan or financing. Your monthly instalment/payment will be increased on the 13th month until the end of the loan/financing tenure to re-amortise the loan/financing across the remaining tenure.


Package C : Tenure extension
Loan/Financing tenure extension up to 35 years from date of first disbursement. This will allow you to repay/pay a lower monthly installment/payment amount.

Eligibility
  • For package A: Individuals who have lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic; and
  • For packages B and C: Individuals who have suffered a drop in income due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Notes: Kindly bring along the following supporting documents if you visit any of our Bank Branches. To ensure expeditious processing of your application, please submit your application only once.

  • Retrenchment Letter* OR
  • Salary slip before and after pay cut*
Self-employed
  • Bank Statements before and after business income impacted*

*Please stamp the Statutory Declaration at the Commissioner for Oath/Notary Public before you submit the form to the Bank.

*The processing time for the application will take up to 5 days upon receiving completed document(s). It may take longer if there are public holiday(s)/weekends in between.

*Please complete a fresh post moratorium application if you have more than one account with us.

      Validity Period 23 November 2020 to 30 June 2021
      Packages Category B40
      Package A : Loan and Financing Payment Deferment for 3 months.

      Package B : 50% of the monthly installment / payment for the first 6 months while retaining your tenure of your loan and financing. Your monthly instalment/payment will be increased on the 7th month until the end of the loan/financing tenure to re-amortise the loan/financing across the remaining tenure.

      Category M40
      Package A. Loan and Financing Payment Deferment for 3 months
      Only for individuals who have lost their jobs due to pandemic. Your loan or financing payment/repayment deferment will be extended for another 3 months.
      Note: Supporting document(s) required. If your application for Package A under Post-Moratorium Financial Relief Program is already approved, you can apply Targeted Repayment Assistance under Package B or C only.

      Package B. Lower Instalments with Subsequent Step-up Payments
      You will pay a lower monthly instalment/payment for the first 6 months following the moratorium while retaining the tenure of your loan or financing. Your monthly instalment/payment will be increased on the 7th month until the end of the loan/financing tenure to re-amortise the loan/financing across the remaining tenure.

      Package C. Tenure extension
      Loan/Financing tenure extension up to 35 years from date of first disbursement. This will allow you to repay/pay a lower monthly installment/payment amount.

      Eligibility B40 Borrower/Customer
      Any borrower/customer who is categorized as B40 and registered in the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH)/ Bantuan Prihatin Raykat (BPR) database:
      • B40 household monthly income ≤ RM 4000 or
      • B40 single monthly income ≤ RM 2,000
      • For married couples eligible for BSH based on household income, both husband and wife would be eligible for this package if they have loans/ financing.

      M40 Borrower/Customer
      • Any borrower/customer whose household income have been reduced due to the pandemic.
      • Any borrower/customer who is categorized as M40 and registered in the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) database.
      • M40 household monthly income RM 4001 to RM 8000 or
      • M40 single monthly income RM 2001 to RM 4,000.

      *For M40 Package A or Package C applicant, additional documents are required. Please refer to the Online Application Form below on the required documents.
      • To expedite your application process, please submit your application only once.
      • Please complete a separate Targeted Repayment Assistance application for each account with us.
      • The Bank will notify you via email on your B40/M40 eligibility status within the next working day after receipt of your completed e-form by 6pm of the preceding working day. The processing time for the application will take up to 5 days thereafter. It may take longer if there are public holiday(s)/weekends in between.
      • For M40, Bank may require additional document for post hoc validation.
