INTRODUCTION

Designed for fresh graduates aspiring to carve out a career in banking, you will get a head start with our OCBC Graduate Talent programme. We have carefully designed this 24-month structured programme to prepare you for a division-specific role in the Bank.

Your learning journey begins with extensive classroom training in technical and interpersonal skills, before moving on to a branch attachment, job rotations, project assignments and personalised mentoring by senior managers to equip you with a strong banking foundation. You will be assessed continuously on your potential to succeed in this fast-paced and demanding career. Outstanding work performance, strong leadership qualities and a positive attitude will make you a candidate for fast-tracking to become a professional banker of our future.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

A Graduate Talent’s learning journey includes:

  • Structured corporate training.

  • Structured branch attachment in Malaysia.

  • Other qualities that put you in a strong standing for the programme include:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 3.0 or above, or second class upper in any discipline.

    • Not more than 2 years’ working experience.

    • Good command of English (spoken and written).

    • Stellar extra-curricular achievements, with model leadership and a penchant for problem-solving and new challenges.

    • Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

    • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with a self-driven nature.

    • Malaysian citizen.
