Important Notes
Premier Family
- Only Premier Banking client with Assets Under Management (deposits and/or investments with OCBC Bank) of a minimum of RM200,000 are eligible to nominate family members to join the Premier Family.
- Nomination of family members is up to 3 family members who are either a spouse and/or children of the Premier Banking client.
- Each person that is nominated must be 18 years old or above and is required to maintain a minimum of RM50,000 in deposits.
PIDM disclosure
This deposit is protected by PIDM up to RM250,000 for each depositor. Learn more
- Deposit protectection is automatic.
- PIDM protects depositors holding deposits with banks.
- There is no charge to depositors for deposit insurance protection.
- Should a bank fail, PIDM will promptly reimburse depositors over their deposits.

What are the benefits that my family members can enjoy when they join the Premier Family?
Your family members will recive the status and recognition of a Premier Banking client and will also be able to enjoy the benefits and privileges that come with it. -
Who can I nominate to join Premier Family?
You can only nominate your spouse and/or your children to join the Premier Family. Each family member nominated will need to maintain a balance of RM50,000 in deposits with OCBC Bank to be eligible. For your children, they will need to be at least 18 years old to qualify. -
What do I need to do to nominate my family members to join the Premier Family?
Simply get in touch with your Relationship Manager and fill up an application form to nominate your family members. -
Will I be able to change the members of my Premier Family?
Yes, you will be able to. You will need to inform your Relationship Manager about this. Do note that each Premier Family is limited to 3 family members. If the allocation is filled up, one of the family members may exit Premier Family in order for a new one to be nominated. -
Can I nominate my siblings, parents or relatives to join the Premier Family?
Currently, nominations are applicable and limited to your spouse and/or children. However, do keep an eye out for future updates as we continue to improve and expand our product offerings and services. -
Will my family members get access to the same Relationship Manager as mine?
Yes, your Premier Family will get to be served by the same Relationship Manager, making it easier to manage your wealth together as a family. However, if you feel the need to be served by a different Relationship Manager at any point, please don't hesitate to inform your Relationship Manager. -
Will I have visibility over my nominated family member's account details and balances?
All personal account details and balances remain private to the individual account holder. Unless you have a joint account with another family member, your balances and account information will continue to remain confidential. -
What happens if I am not able to maintain my AUM of RM200,000 and/or my family members do not maintain RM50,000 in their account? Will my family members no longer be eligible for Premier Family?
Don't worry - your family will continue to retain and enjoy their Premier status as long as you collectively maintain a minimum AUM of RM300,000 across all accounts.
