The OCBC Bank CEO’s Office has again partnered with Yayasan Feruni, this time through RM10,000 in support of two of their Income Independence initiatives: their Onboarding New Homes 2022 and “Art for Love” Auction projects. The New Homes effort seeks to bring out the spirit of entrepreneurship in the children of several Homes so they can generate their own income by producing, packing and selling homemade popcorn. The “Art for Love” initiative provides the children with space to create unique mosaic artwork using Feruni Ceramiche tiles. Their work will be auctioned with the proceeds going to the Homes. The OCBC donation covers the cost of the materials needed for the mosaic artwork, i.e., grout & adhesive, wood backing and the frame.

Beneficiaries: The children’s home under Yayasan Feruni’s care

People impacted: 400 children

Amount contributed: RM10,000
