Our OCBC Bank Finance division raised RM25,000 through a cookie charity sale amongst fellow staff before CEO Dato’ Ong Eng Bin topped it up for a final whopping RM50,000! Our Finance staff – who were directly involved in the end-to-end process, including the procurement and packaging of the essentials – even wrote motivational messages to the 100 families in the Klang Valley who were severely affected by the pandemic. They partnered with Kechara Soup Kitchen to ensure that the essentials are safely delivered to the families.

Beneficiaries: 100 underprivileged families in Klang Valley through Kechara Soup Kitchen

People impacted: 400

OCBC Volunteers: 90

Amount contributed: RM50,000
