A total of 1,483 OCBC Bank and OCBC Al-Amin staff and family members achieved a record high collection of RM173,000 in the World Vision Malaysia #RunForChildren initiative when they raised a whopping RM98,000 from among themselves which was then topped up with an additional RM75,000 from CEO Dato’ Ong Eng Bin. The participants from the head office and branches nationwide “moved" in creative ways over 42 days to create awareness about the 42 rights of children enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The funds went toward supporting vulnerable children so they can grow and thrive in a safe environment, free from violence and harm.
