OCBC Cycle Johor Bahru 2026 Returns For Its Second Edition On 11 October 2026
As Johor welcomes visitors during Visit Johor Year 2026, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (“OCBC Bank”) is bringing back OCBC Cycle Johor Bahru (OCBC Cycle JB) for its second edition on Sunday, 11 October 2026. The event provides cyclists a unique opportunity to cycle through Johor Bahru on closed roads and experience the city's heritage, landmarks and vibrant streets from a different perspective.
Flagged off from Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB), Jalan Dato Onn, the event will take participants through some of Johor Bahru's most recognisable landmarks, including Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim, Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Istana Besar Johor, Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar and Istana Bukit Serene.
Inspired by the success of OCBC Cycle Kuala Lumpur, which has been a fixture on Malaysia's cycling calendar since 2015, OCBC Cycle JB combines sports, community and tourism, offering participants a unique way to discover the city while promoting healthier and more active lifestyles.
According to Tan Chor Sen, CEO of OCBC Bank, the event reflects the bank's commitment to supporting healthier communities while spotlighting destinations that continue to play an increasingly important role in Malaysia's growth story.
"Johor continues to strengthen its position as one of Malaysia's key economic engines, attracting investments, businesses and talent from around the region. At the same time, it offers a rich heritage, distinctive culture and unique attractions that add to its appeal as one of Malaysia’s most dynamic destinations.”
“Through OCBC Cycle JB, we hope to support efforts to elevate the state's tourism profile while encouraging healthier lifestyles and fostering stronger community connections," he said.
