OCBC Malaysia has been named Malaysia’s Best Trade Finance Bank by Euromoney.

The accolade recognises the Bank for its innovative solutions and digital offerings which included seamless financing process for businesses, allowing them to efficiently manage their cash flows.
 
Judged by Euromoney’s expert editorial, the Transaction Banking Awards recognise excellence, leadership and innovation across trade finance, cash management, payments and technology.  These prestigious awards highlight the institutions delivering outstanding value, driving transformation and shaping the future of transaction banking.

The Bank introduced OCBC CashNow, a first-of-its-kind solution designed to mitigate administrative burdens for its customers. It also introduced a revolutionary SME trade financing solution under its Embedded Finance concept that has helped many SMEs gain access to short-term working capital financing expeditiously. Completed digitally without requiring the customers to submit hardcopy documents, both solutions led to a significant increase in its customer base.
