Two Malaysian companies win at regional Emerging Enterprise Awards 2025
Two Malaysian-based companies, namely Dodo Ventures Sdn Bhd and Green Environmental Engineering Sdn Bhd, were recognised at the recent Emerging Enterprise Awards 2025 in Singapore.
In total, seven companies from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong clinched top accolades at the Emerging Enterprise (EE) Awards 2025, jointly organised by Singapore’s The Business Times and the OCBC Group, the region’s second largest banking group and Asia's Best SME Bank, and is open to all qualifying enterprises in Asia.
Malaysia-based Dodo Ventures Sdn Bhd, received the Emerging Enterprise Award, which recognises emerging enterprises that demonstrate enterprising mindsets that drive consistent, significant and sustainable growth, resulting in excellent business performance. The business also displayed the ability to scale and expand overseas.
Malaysia-based Green Environmental Engineering Sdn Bhd won the Emerging Enterprise Sustainability Award, which recognises emerging enterprises that are capitalising on growth opportunities in the green economy.

Launched in 2008 and now in its 18th year, the EE Awards is an annual event that recognises the bold ambitions of young businesses in Singapore and the region that are under 10 years old. The awards aim to celebrate their business innovation, resilience and excellence.
Close to 600 applications from a broad mix of industries were received this year, with over a third from Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Malaysia. A total of 30 companies were selected as finalists.
The EE Awards 2025 is supported by Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Enterprise Singapore, Mastercard, Paia Consulting (From CBRE), Rajah & Tann Asia, and RSM Singapore.

A total of seven Malaysian companies made it as finalists this year. In addition to the two Malaysian winners above, the other finalists were Cobbler Sdn Bhd and Tommac Sdn Bhd - under the Emerging Enterprise Sustainability Award. Alps Global Holding Berhad, Future Food Sdn Bhd and Good Foodie Media Sdn Bhd were finalists under the Emerging Enterprise Award.
