What is One Plan-i

One Plan-i is a Takaful plan created by OCBC together with Great Eastern Takaful Berhad. Takaful refers to cooperation among a group of individuals to mutually guarantee and aid each other in order to meet certain needs as agreed amongst themselves such as providing compensation for a particular loss or any forms of financial needs.

A 25-year-old female non-smoker participates in One Plan-i for 35 certificate years with Basic Sum Covered of RM 250,000 and pays monthly contribution of RM50. She holds onto the certificate until maturity. How much is customer protected for? RM 250,000 RM 275,000 RM 300,000 RM 325,000
What happened to customer? She remains healthy until maturity
How much was paid out to customer? She will receive the amount accumulated in her Participant’s Individual Account RM 16,176*
*Assuming the PIA earns 5% each year. Profits depend on the funds’ actual performance and are NOT guaranteed. The PIA amount shown above are based on end of the respective certificate years.
