Online Transactions

Pay bills

Online payments can be made to major billing organisations (Click here for more information). Pay directly from your bank account or OCBC credit card:

  1. Login to online banking.
  2. Under “Bill Payment” menu, click “Register Payee”.
  3. Proceed with the Payee Registration.
  4. Click on “Own Account/ Registered Payee” to complete payment.

 

Please take note that not all billing organisations support payments from deposit account or credit card. Click here for more information.

Pay OCBC credit card

  1. Login to online banking.
  2. Under “Bill Payment” menu

         a) Click on “Own Account/ Registered Payee” for your own credit card

         b) Click “Register Payee” for third party credit cards and proceed with Registration. Then, make payment at “Own Account/ Registered Payee”.

Add beneficiary for funds transfer

You can add a payee for funds transfer through the following steps

  1. Login to online banking
  2. Select “Funds Transfer” under the menu.
  3. Select “To Accounts in OCBC Malaysia”.
  4. Select “Account Registration” and click on “Register Account”.
  5. Follow the online instructions.

Add beneficiary for interbank funds transfer

You can add a beneficiary for another bank’s deposit, loan/hire purchase account or credit card through the following steps

  1. Login to online banking.
  2. Select “Funds Transfer” under the menu.
  3. Select “To Other Banks in Malaysia”.
  4. Select “Account Registration” and click “Register Account”
  5. Follow the online instructions

Add payee for bill payment

You can add a payee for a billing organization or another bank’s credit card through the following steps

  1. Login to online banking.
  2. Select “Payment & transfers” under the menu
  3. Select “Pay bills”
  4. Select “Add and manage payees” on the left menu
  5. Click on the button “Add billing organisation” or “Add a card”
  6. Follow the online instructions

Transfer funds to accounts in OCBC Bank

Login to online banking, select “Funds Transfer” followed by “To Accounts in OCBC Malaysia”

You can transfer:

  1. To your own OCBC account (My Own Account).
  2. To someone else’s OCBC account (3rd Party Account).

Fund transfer amount is limited to RM10,000 daily and is shared with transfer to accounts in other banks.

Transfer funds to accounts in other banks

Login to online banking, select “Funds Transfer” followed by “To Other Banks in Malaysia”

You can transfer:

  1. To other banks’ deposit accounts.
  2. To other banks’ loan/ hire purchase accounts.
  3. To other banks’ credit cards.

Fund transfer amount is limited to RM10,000 daily and is shared with transfer within OCBC accounts.

Add a non-OCBC account as payee

  1. Login to online banking.
  2. Select “Payment & transfer, and click on “Transfer funds”
  3. Select "to another bank account in Malaysia"
  4. Click “Add account”
  5. Select the kind of account you want to transfer to.
  6. Follow the online instructions

You will be asked for a one-time password (OTP) before you can transfer funds to this account.

Notify payee of transferred funds

When making a funds transfer, you can notify your beneficiary by filling in the following information:

  • By updating the “Update Beneficiary Email” under “Account Registration” in the “Funds Transfer Menu.

Make a fixed deposit placement

You need to have an existing OCBC MYR Current account or Savings account to make a fixed deposit placement online.

To make a fixed deposit placement:

  1. You are required to have a current account or savings account with us.
  2. Login to online banking
  3. Click on your “Service Requests” menu and then click on
    a)    “FD Account Opening” if you do not have an existing FD Account
    b)    “FD Placement” if you have an existing FD Account.
  4. Follow the online instructions

Set Daily Transaction Limit

You can change your funds transfer limit via Internet Banking.
The maximum amount allowed for 3rd Party and Interbank transfers is RM30,000 per day.

To make an update on Transaction Limit:

  1. Log in to online banking.
  2. Select “Customer Service” menu.
  3. Select “Update Transaction Limit” menu.
  4. Follow the online instructions.
