Scheme Name Disaster Relief Facility (DRF) 2022
Objective To alleviate the financial burden of Micro Enterprises and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) affected by the recent floods and enable them to resume their business operations.
Eligibility Micro Enterprises and SMEs affected by floods located in districts identified by Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA) as flood disaster areas.
Purpose of Financing
  • Repairs and/or replacement of assets for business use (e.g. plants and machinery) which have been damaged by floods; and/or
  • Working capital.
  • Note: You must not use the financing for refinancing of existing credit/financing facilities
Financing Rate Up to 3.50% p.a. (inclusive of CGC guarantee fee)
Financing Limit
  • For SME: Maximum of RM 700,000 only per SME*
  • For Micro Enterprise: Maximum of RM 150,000 only per Micro Enterprise*
  • *Note: Collective financing limit is applicable for Micro Enterprises and SMEs with common shareholder(s) of equal to or more than 20% shareholding.
Guarantee Coverage Up to 80% guarantee coverage by Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (“CGC”) at 0.5% p.a. guarantee fee.
Maximum Tenure Up to 7 years, including a moratorium period of 6 months on both principal and interest/profit payments.
Scheme Availability Until full utilisation or subject to further decision by BNM.

Scheme Name SME Flood Relief Assistance
Objective To assist SMEs that are affected by the recent spate of floods in the various states.

Packages
6-month deferment of instalments/payments
  • Your monthly instalment/payment will be deferred for 6 months;
  • Thereafter, you will need to continue your monthly instalments/payments from the 7th month onwards until the end of the loan/financing tenure.
  • 6 months extension on loan/financing tenure.
Scheme Availability The final date to submit applications is 28 February 2022.
Eligibility
  • Your existing loans and financing payment/repayments are not in arrears exceeding 90 days as at date of application.
  • Businesses or business premises located in flood impacted areas identified by Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA) such as Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perak, Selangor and Sabah.
