  • What is JomPAY collection?

    JomPAY is a national payment scheme initiated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) for customers to perform online bill payments anytime and anywhere. It is also the preferred option for collecting payments for businesses and billers.

  • Is JomPAY free of charge?

    Although it remains complimentary to customers who make the bill payments, there is a small transaction fee levied on the Biller for every payment received by the business.

  • How long would it take for payments to go through via JomPAY?

    Payments initiated by your customer before 5.00pm on a Banking Business Day will be credited to your Bank account on the same day. If a payment is made after 5.00pm, you will receive the payment the next Banking Business Day.

  • What are the available payment methods?

    As a JomPAY biller, you may choose to receive payment from your customers via their Savings Account, Current Account or Credit Card.

  • What is a Biller Code?

    A Biller Code is a unique number to identify a JomPAY Biller. Your customers can simply enter your Biller Code in the Bill Payment module to make the payment to you.

  • What is Ref-1?

    A Ref-1 is a unique number used to identify a recipient’s account. For instance, your customer will enter the Ref-1 number into their transaction details when they make a payment to you; this is so you can easily match the payments received to the correct customer. Usually, customers use their account number(s) or invoice number(s) as Ref-1.

  • How can I sign up as a JomPAY biller?

    To get started, simply sign a JomPAY agreement with OCBC Bank. Please contact us at 1300-88-7000 (within Malaysia) or (603) 8317 5200 (outside Malaysia) Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (excluding public holidays) for details.
