WOW Family Moments Breakfast Delights Terms and Conditions

The OCBC WOW Family Moments Breakfast Delights Promotion (“Promotion”)
1. The Promotion is exclusively for individual Malaysian residents, permanent residents and non residents and available on selected days from 1 July to 31 October 2007 (“Breakfast with OCBC Events”) at selected branches (“Selected Branches”).
2. Employees of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, its related companies, advertising / sales promotion agencies and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
3. OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (“the Bank”) will from time to time notify of the Breakfast with OCBC Events and Selected Branches for the Promotion in the manner stated under clause (5) below.
Eligibility
Customers must bring a picture of their WOW Family Moment and perform any one of the following transactions at the Breakfast with OCBC Events to be eligible to the Promotion (“Eligible Customer”):
- Perform a Financial Journey
- Open any Savings Account or top up their Savings Account with a minimum amount of RM1,000.00 from fresh funds*
- place a Fixed Deposit with a minimum amount of RM5,000-00 using fresh funds.
- Invest a minimum of RM2,000-00 in any of the below Unit Trust Funds
  - Asian Total Return Fund
  - Pacific AsiaPac Income Fund
  - RHB Golden Life 2010
  - TA European Equity Fund
  - TA Global Asset Allocator Fund
  - AmGlobal Agribusiness
  - Pacific Dividend Fund

- Purchase in any of the below Bancassurance products with the first year premium payable of not less than RM1,500-00.

  - Medi-Pac ( for Family – Individual, Spouse and Children)
- Purchase any Structured Investment product or Negotiable Instruments of Deposits (the above transactions are collectively referred to as the “Eligible Transactions”)* Fresh funds means cheques from other banks or funds (cash) transferred into the Bank’s accounts for a period of not more than 3 days.
The Promotion
Under the Promotion, the Eligible Customers may enjoy the following benefits:
1. Receive an OCBC WOW Family Moments Breakfast Delight Gift (“Breakfast Delight Gift”)
  1. The Breakfast Delight Gift, an Elegant Wood Picture Frame (Size: 4” x 6”), will be given out for Eligible Customers who have performed the Eligible Transactions.
  2. The Breakfast Delight Gift can only be redeemed once and is valid with other promotions.
  3. The gift will be forfeited if the Eligible Customer cools off the unit trust investments or the insurance policy taken lapses or is terminated or is cooled off or the fixed deposits placed is withdrawn before its maturity (“cessation events”).
  4. Eligible Customers are required to check the gift(s) before leaving the branch to ensure that it is in good order and condition. If the gift(s) is found to be defective or damaged, please return it immediately to the Bank’s personnel for replacement. Gift(s) is not returnable or exchangeable once it leaves the branch premises.
  5. The Bank shall not be obliged to compensate or replace any lost, damaged or stolen gift(s).
2. Eligible to participate in the Best WOW Family Moments Contest (“WOW Contest”)
  1. Eligible Customers will get a chance to participate in the WOW Contest to win either the
    o Grand Prize of Kenwood Mini Chopper (“Grand Prize”)
    o Consolation Prize of Tenmoku Pottery Chopstick Set (“Consolation Prize”)
  2. To participate in the WOW Contest, the Eligible Customer must complete the WOW Contest application form and submit a picture of their WOW Family Moment.
  3. The completed application form with the WOW Family Moment picture must be immediately submitted on the same day of the Eligible Transactions at the same branch where the Eligible Transactions are made.
  4. The WOW Family Moment pictures submitted will be examined by a panel of judges. Judges’ decision on all matters connected with the contest will be final and no appeal or correspondence will be entertained.
  5. Each winners of the WOW Contest will be awarded either with the Grand Prize and Consolation Prize respectively based on the pictures which best suit the WOW Family Moment theme.
  6. Winners will be notified by telephone call or such other manner it deems fit.
  7. Winners will be notified when the prize is ready for collection from an OCBC Bank branch, which may be approximately 2 to 4 weeks after the expiry of the Breakfast at OCBC event. The prize(s) shall be collected personally by the winners at the risk and cost of the respective winners.
  8. Where any prize(s) remain unclaimed for two (2) months after the stipulated date, it will be forfeited. Any winner whose prize has been forfeited is not entitled to any payment or compensation notwithstanding non-receipt of notification.
  9. All winners are required to produce their identification card for verification upon collection of prize(s).
  10. Winners are required to check the prize(s) before leaving the Bank to ensure that it is in good order and condition. If the prize(s) is found to be defective or damaged, please return it immediately to the Bank’s personnel for replacement. Prize(s) is not returnable or exchangeable once it leaves the branch premises.
  11. The Bank shall not be obliged to compensate or replace any lost, damaged or stolen gift(s).
  12. The prize will be forfeited if the winner cools off the unit trust investments or the insurance policy taken lapses or is terminated or is cooled off or the fixed deposits placed is withdrawn before its maturity.
  13. The Bank shall not be obliged to return the pictures that were submitted as part of this Promotion
3. The Bank does not warrant the quality, performance or fitness any of the gift(s) or prize(s) in this Promotion and shall not be responsible for any consequences including but not limited to loss of life, injury to person and/or damage to property arising from or in connection with the promotion or use of the gift(s) or prize(s). Any dispute about quality or performance of the gift(s) or prize(s) should be resolved directly with the merchants/retailer/travel agent. The gift(s) or prize(s) are subject to the respective manufacturer's warranty/conditions.
4. The gift(s) or prize(s) are not exchangeable for cash and/or other items.
5. The Bank reserves the right to substitute at any time, at its sole discretion, any of the prizes or gift(s) for this Promotion without prior notice.
6. Participants’ participation in this Promotion is on the condition that they irrevocably permit and authorize the Bank to disclose information regarding their particulars, including the right to publish the names and photographs of winners for advertising or publicity purposes and to parties involved in the organization of this Promotion.
7. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations.
The terms and condition for the respective Wealth Management products shall also apply.
The Bank reserves the right to withdraw or amend these terms and conditions at any time at it sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice.
Any notification in relation to this Promotion including any variation of these rules and regulations or the variation, suspension or termination of the Promotion may be made by placing in a general notice in one issue of a daily national newspaper, by posting a general notice in any of branch premises or the Bank’s website or by incorporating the notice into the Bank’s bank statements sent to the customers periodically and the notice will take effect from the date set out in the notice and if no date is stated, will take effect from the date of the notice
In the event of discrepancy or conflict between the English version and the translation of these rules and regulations in any other language, the English version of these rules and regulations shall prevail. OCBC reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary any of these rules and regulations at any time without prior notice.
